surveyDescriptionState of Vermont, Windsor,k Co. Be it remembered, that at Hartland on the 28th day of April 1838 we the undersigned selelctmen of Hartland on the petition of Peter Gilson and others laid out surveyed and opened a road described as follows: survey of road 3 rods in width and surveyed in the center geginning 2.5 rods Northerly from the NE corner of Williams and Rogers Cider Mill and on the South side of the old road thence North 47 deg. E. 13 rods to the new road that runs to the Village(?). We have set over the old road running through Eliphald(?) rogers land to him the said rogers in part ppay for damages for laying said road and have allowed him and have ordered the same to be recorded.
